PAPER CITY

Inspired by the Barcelona Eixample, I designed a piece that mimics the sun's interaction with the city blocks. Light filters through geometric patterns, recreating the shifting shadows and golden glow of sunlight across the urban grid. The symmetrical arrangement of Eixample's superblocks create a breathtaking aerial view of Barcelona and inspired me to create this design using intricate paper-cut shapes, reflecting its architectural harmony. Experimenting with different lighting patterns felt like mimicking the sun’s movement, adding dynamic depth and life to the design. Working on this design project was incredibly enjoyable.
